Our Process: Gather, Grow, Give, Go
Through the method of the small group, we hope to complete our mission and realize our vision. We will indentify and minister to people through our process of Gather, Grow, Give, and Go.
Gather: People in the gather stage are either not believers and meeting with a fellowship for the first time or they may be believers who have not found their function in the Body.
Grow: Once a person becomes a believer they enter the grow stage. This stage is where a person discovers their spiritual gifts and begins to focus less on self and more on others. They begin to ask, "How might I help and minister?"
Give: The goal of every believer should be to become a disciple maker. This is what Jesus intends. This stage is where a believer begins to minister to others. An example may be a small group facilitator, Sunday morning usher, music leader, or a variety of other services. The believer's primary concern is no longer taking (being fed by a pastor or other believer) but giving (helping feed others).
Go: The reproductive stage. In this stage the Christian not only ministers to others, but now trains and disciples others to minister and reproduce more disciples; thus fulfilling the Great Commission "go and make disciples" (Matt 28:16-20).
